The seasons are changing and it’s the perfect time to get around and enjoy yourself.

It was 80+ when we left for the mountain trip and 34 when we arrived just 350 miles away. We’ve had snow for the past 3 days and it was fun to see. And the cold air showed up too! Did I tell you it freezing here, 26 degrees.

The snow was a bonus this trip, we really hadn’t expected it in the Spring although we have seen it on the blue ridge before. It’s so beautiful up here in the hills! The sky and stars simply rule and the moon keeps everything moving.

I’ve slept a lot this week which you all know I’m an insomniac so this felt really nice to sleep. If I could sleep this well at home it would amazing!

We are leaving Sunday so tmw we will explore downtown. I love a small town like Boone and West Jefferson. The folks are real and kind. Just sweet to their core.
