A beautiful thought is that dragonflies spend years growing beneath the surface before emerging with wings—a reminder that transformation often takes time. 💙🦋 (Even though dragonflies aren’t butterflies, they inspire a similar sense of wonder.)

Look at this little friendly yellow beauty! It was playing with us over 30 minutes, hopping from one hand to another.

These Wings of Wonder are all around us outside it just takes a little patience and stillness to wait for them. If you slow down and wait, they will come.

Don’t be surprised at their gentle nature and friendly demeanor.

You can spot them skimming on the water near a stream, pool or the ocean. Another place they like to linger is on outdoor plants stems, especially palm plants.

As it dances through the air, the dragonfly teaches us the smallest most delicate wings can carry us through our greatest transformations.
